An Update

Hey there, stranger! It has been nearly TWO MONTHS since my last neighborhood visit. Two months is quite a long hiatus, don't you think? *Insert list of excuses here*
As cliche as it sounds, life was truly crazy this holiday season. School ended shortly after my last neighborhood visit, posted on November 29th (check it out here). Per my west-to-east neighborhood trajectory, Clifton and CUF (aka my Home Base) would have been next on my list. After a half-assed visit to Clifton that was rushed in between exams ending and heading home for the holidays, I decided to save these two neighborhoods until the end of my project (something about finishing this project right at home in Clifton just makes sense).
Flashing forward to the new year: after a Christmas and New Years relaxing and taking a long-needed break, 2021 is proving to be just as busy with my internship starting up and several extracurriculars in the mix! Don't worry though, I promise I haven't forgotten about 52 First Impressions. Beginning 2021 with 21 neighborhoods visited leaves me lots of ground to cover!
New blog posts will continue to be posted once a week, with each post covering two neighborhoods. The next couple weeks I'll be venturing into downtown, the West End, OTR and Pendleton, so stay tuned! As always, if you're local to the Cincinnati area and ever want to join me on my visits, don't hesitate to reach out. Despite COVID-19 making everything more complicated, we can definitely work out a socially-distant trip that is safe. Best wishes to everyone returning to school for the Spring Semester! Stay tuned :)
